History

Staffing and commissioning the Positron Emission Tomography Imaging Science Center described in this presentation, will permit TRI-X PET © to lead in the fields of Routine Clinical and Research PET.

The Center will be equipped with the most advanced PET Scanning and Radioisotope Production Cyclotron Equipment, assuring high accuracy imaging quality at maximum client/patient staging, 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Supporting this state of the art operation are other proven technologies, including those in high speed fault tolerant data acquisition and processing, essential for communicating the massive data accumulating at the Center.

Firms with international experience in manufacturing and commissioning specialized PET configurations qualify the TRI-X PET © undertaking within it's limits of time and projected parameters of finance.

TRI-X PET © will encompass Routine and Clinical Imaging Procedures for Whole Body and Site Specific PET in Oncology, Cardiology and Neurology.

The TRI-X PET © Center will lead in the development of research medical radionuclides and associated Nuclear Medicine procedures. An ever growing Database will allow outside access to life critical information in the interpretation of Images. Teaching and Training facilities will provide for an uninterrupted flow of disciplines with expert knowledge in the practice of PET.

This is an exceptionally BOLD PROJECT compared to what is available in Diagnostic and Prognostic Imaging. It has no equal in scope or magnitude. It is designed to optimize on "quality in quantity" to achieve project-critical economics. Programmed productivity together with "state of the art" equipment assure a long and productive life of the Vancouver Center for PET Excellence.
